Alyssa Frazier

Hello, Gator Family!

My name is Alyssa Frazier, and I am thrilled to continue my journey with the Gator family for the 2026–2027 school year!

I was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and am a proud graduate of Craven County Schools. After earning my degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University, I returned home to begin my career in the district that helped shape me.

I began my educational journey at Roger Bell New Tech Academy, where I had the privilege of teaching both first and second grade. I later served as an Instructional Coach, supporting teachers and helping strengthen instructional practices across the school. I was also honored to be selected as a Craven County Principal Fellow, an experience that further developed my passion for educational leadership.

This year marks my fourth year serving as the Assistant Principal at W. Jesse Gurganus Elementary. It is truly a privilege to work alongside such dedicated staff, incredible students, supportive families, and caring community partners.

I believe that meaningful relationships are the foundation of a successful school. By working together, we can create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.

I am excited for another year of learning, collaboration, and celebrating the success of our Gators. I look forward to partnering with each of you to make the 2026–2027 school year our best yet!
